From idea to deep commitment
Inspired by the potential to reduce down time for vessels requiring subsea repairs or maintenance Otech Marine Services was founded. We have always believed that nothing is impossible – it simply requires better planning.
The original objective was to combine surface diving operations with different areas of expertise in “one phonecall”. On our part we guarantee customers quick response and reduced the need for several subcontractors.
From the initial business idea the company has grown rapidly and continues to expand its services with the help of loyal customers, new technology and creativity of our personnel. Our goal is still to provide the best possible solutions to improve safety, save money and reduce the time any rig, ship or equipment is out of service.
Did you know?
- Otech Marine Services completed a “dry-dock” operation offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.
- Otech Marine Services repaired a damaged propeller on a fully loaded gas tanker allowing it to cross the Atlantic Ocean without going into dry-dock.
- Otech Marine Services replaced a thruster on a Semi-submersible rig offshore in Gulf of Mexico while the rig was running on DP.
