Description
The Deepsea Bergen project is yet another example of a 5 year class (SPS) involving several of our disciplines. The location was CCB just outside Bergen and their experience combined with modern facilities and contribution from Odfjell Drilling Technology's own personnel made the foundation for another successful project involving:
- Replacement of 2 Wârtsila Lipps Azimuth Thrusters (incl. Welding & NDT of new padeyes)
- In-water survey DnV
- Replacement and overhaul of all shipside valves
- Overhaul of Transducer valve
- Blanking of all seachests, inlets & outlets
- Cleaning of seachests & mounting of new anodes inside
- Underwater welding of sacrificial anodes on pontoon sides
- Installation of sacrificial anodes on bracings, columns and inside ballast tanks
