Description
The Ramform Vanguard Yardstay in 2009 added yet another visit for Otech Marine Services onboard one of the world’s most technologically advanced seismic vessels. As a result of our past experience with replacement of thrusters onboard the Ramform vessels our team was involved in the following operations during the Yard stay at Navantia shipyard in Cadiz, Spain:
- Removal and installation of 2 Ulstein TCNP 156 Compass Thrusters
- Mechanical assistance for Rolls Royce during overhaul of 2 steering gears
- Mechanical assistance during replacement of 6 Bauer hydraulic motors
- Mechanical assistance for Rolls Royce during repair of 1 Retractable Bow-Thruster
